Where is the Man?

Where is the Man?
a mother's prayer

Where is the man who will love my son, who will be Jesus to him? Where is the man who will hear his heart, believe in his dreams, help him take another chance?
Who will model authenticity, integrity, passion for him? Is there a man out there any where selfless enough to care?

Is there no man who cares for my son’s soul?

Somewhere he must exist. Please bring him to my son.
He sat beside me tonight, and wept. He’s being broken, God, and that’s good - but is there anyone, anywhere, who will help him pick up the pieces? "I want to sing, Mom. I want to make a difference in my world. Please pray that I will find a place to sing." He's a man with a song, and no where to sing it.

I’m his mom, I would die for him. He broken and wounded; he's trapped in a dark pit and desperately wants out.

In a world of imitations making mockery of Your name, who will be a true representation of Jesus to him? Is there a Godly man anywhere who will climb down into the pit with him, and show him the way out?

Where is the man who will love my son? Who will be Jesus to him?
